Hey guys, the Pobreng Probinsyana is back and I'm going to review another seafood restaurant near my hometown. As usual, this blog will include the menu and pricelist so keep on reading :)
Matalom Leyte, a small town situated 17.75 kilometers away from Maasin city. Blessed with abundant harvest from the sea, seafood restaurants are strategically located at the seaside. Well huts are even built/put up on the sea so you're literally on top of the water.
Seafood lovers flock to these restaurants not just for the sumptuous meals but for the unique ambiance.
Kan-anan sa Superball, one of Matalom, Leyte's popular seafood and barbecue restaurant is a family-owned business offering fresh seafood and mouthwatering barbecue.

My family and I decided to have a 'sea'-food trip for dinner. Here's some pictures of Kan-anan sa Superball at night:

We ordered SEAFOOD BOODLE for Php 1350.00. It has all kinds of seafood: prawns, tempura, calamares, grilled fish, seashell, grilled squid, vinegared fish, and of course buttered scallops. It's good for 5-6 persons depending on your appetite ;p It also has a pitcher of iced tea as well.
We also ordered Chopseuy for Php 150.00.

We went home full and satisfied with what we've ordered. Although it's a bit pricey and quite far from my hometown, you won't regret dining here because of its relaxing ambiance. I definitely recommend this place to all seafood lovers out there.
